Community Collaborative
The Thriving at Three Community Collaborative is a dynamic group of professionals and volunteers working together to create a coordinated, high quality continuum of care for all children. This broad coalition is a developing a comprehensive strategic community impact plan. The Community Collaborative sets community impact goals and outcomes for the Thriving at Three initiative, coordinates services, and evaluates progress towards community impact goals. The collaborative is working to build a coordinated community effort to ensure that all children in Greater Greensboro are thriving at three.
The collaborative objectives are:
Develop and implement an education agenda to promote collaboration and communication and create awareness of best practices for serving children age 0 to 3.
To actively support the Thriving at Three’s initiative through the formulation of strategies and activities that will serve to increase membership in the collaborative and/or contributions, gifts, and grants.
To develop and implement an advocacy agenda to create awareness of needs, promote policy changes, and increase supportive funding.
Educate the public about social and mental developmental processes and warning signs that may indicate problems.
Support the work of the professional team and direct service agencies.
Build linkages and develop opportunities to involve the business community.
